Everyone is different. What makes you a good leader depends, among other things, on the environment you're in, your personality, and the team you lead. Leadership isn't suited for everyone because we are vastly different, fortunately. The often-cited qualities associated with effective leadership include:

- Vision: A good leader has a clear vision and can inspire others to share and pursue that vision. They have a clear picture of the desired future and can motivate others to work towards it.
- Communication skills: Leaders must be effective communicators, both verbally and in writing. They should be able to clearly convey their vision, goals, and expectations to their team members and other stakeholders.
- Decision-making ability: Being able to make decisions, even when faced with uncertainty or risks. They should be able to analyze and evaluate available information to make informed choices.
- Empathy: A good leader understands and values the emotions, needs, and viewpoints of others. They can empathize with those around them, show understanding, and act in a way that supports and motivates others. Also, having trust in others.
- Integrity: Demonstrating a high level of integrity and ethics. They act in an honest, consistent, and reliable manner and stand behind their words and actions. They serve as role models for others.
- Setting a good example: Being able to collaborate effectively with others. They understand the importance of teamwork and can create an environment where people can work together, leverage their strengths, and achieve common goals.
- Flexibility and adaptability: Being able to adapt to changes and be flexible in their approach. They are willing to explore new ideas, deal with uncertainty, and adjust their strategies as needed.

It's important to note that these qualities don't necessarily all have to be present in one person. Leadership is complex and can be exercised in different ways depending on the situation and the needs of the team.
